Are you sure you know who discovered the Americas?

By Mark Helme.

Tuesday, 15th February

This lecture is about how the Miocene apes eventually reached North America. 13,000 years ago. Early settlers living on the west coast of the Olympic peninsula had to contend with global cooling. Mark’s latest novel, Kol, is set during this time.

The lecture will start promptly at 7.30pm. There will be a break for light refreshments including tea/coffee wine/fruit juice. The audience is then given the opportunity to ask questions which in turn leads to some very interesting discussion. Finishing time approximately 9.00pm.

An entrance fee of £10 is payable at the door on the night, no advance booking required.
