We all prepared for a night of mystery, suspicion and conspiracy when the cast of Joe Helme’s ninth murder mystery play, performed at Simpson Hall last Saturday.
Murder at the Court recreated the build up to the 7th September 1926 shooting of two sisters in their Burghill Court home. The audience was tasked with solving the case to discover the real perpetrator of the crime.
Hats off to the cast whose hard work over the last few months produced a lively and entertaining performance, not just on the night, but also a matinee show due to unprecedented demand for tickets.
With ticket sales and raffle, the evening raised at least £700 for Air Ambulance.
Well done and thanks to all the cast, production team, catering volunteers and audience for a highly enjoyable, fundraising evening.
